Shock Hoop Gussets

Included with my shock hoops, are 4 gussets that are meant to be cut to length and installed from the frame rails to the hoop for extra support - obviously.

How many people install these? It seems like Im seeing a lot of pictures of peoples trucks without them installed (as I type this, the white Jeep on the banner above doesnt seem to have them). I guess this is a silly question to some. "You have them, just install them". But, its hard to get up in there to weld and such, so Id rather not go through the contorsionist act to do it if people arent having problems running without them.

weld them on..... found out even with one brace on my ford shock towers I tore brace out of the frame. Weld held but the frame tore.
