How was Harris Steel to deal with? They aren't far from me and I was considering giving them a try over Besco. $1.95/ft is a tad cheaper than Besco last time I checked also.

If u call ahead they will have it ready.
Nice ladies all around in the office also

Bingo! got the bend a little off on one side and tried everything like tying one side of the bar to the rear axle and jacking up the other side before I welded in the kickers to the b pillar but was un successsful but it was my first bending project and I couldn't afford to ditch that piece of tube. Guess I will have to live with it. :puke: It isn't too bad looking straight at the back.

Been there-done that. hoping to minimize those little issues on my buggy build. We will see.

Well I got my fuel cell in and it is an RCI, I accidentally won it on ebay with a 100 dollar bid so I guess I will run it till it cracks the have won work customs weld it up!

And on another note, what do you folks think about mounting my radiator ultra 4 style ( This is just for illustration purposes it would be flipped and mounted under the bottom of the kickers)

More to come tomorrow!!

You might be a redneck if........

Your cooler costs more than your fuel cell!!!!. JK.

Speaking of fuel cells, I have been pondering the pro and cons of in tank pickups and fuel pumps vs sumps and external pumps. The pro and cons of each seem to make them about equal, Except I have not found much information on which set up works best in a low fuel/high angle situation. Does anyone know?

My old one was intank pickup and if you got below 1/2 it ran out of gas on angles very easily.

Little update here, Got the front finished and sitting on her own so had to make some more shock tabs for the rear

Was trying to get an Idea on how much travel I wanted in the rear so I decided to split the difference and decided to split the difference and go with 8" up.
