Ram is a 2.5"x8" from Surplus Center

Orbital is a 150cc Sauer Danfoss non-load-reaction that I picked up used

All fittings and field service hose came from Discount Hydraulic Hose

Pump is a stock Jeep cherokee pump i got from the pull-a-part

Power steering pulley and splined column are trail gear parts

The cooler came from the junkyard too

Thanks! What's with the jeep pump.?

It's a saginaw TC pump, same pump that TG and PSC use in the kits, just modded for remote reservoir.

It puts out more pressure and volume than a stock Toyota pump

Gremlin came together nicely! Like the idea of carb return spring to keep lines out of the way.

**** is ****ed up and we left it in the woods!

What'd you break?

Head gasket blew between #3&4 pulled the plug wires and injector plugs, kept riding.

Steering overheated

A few times

Broke a hydro fitting off the ram.

Left it in the woods

Sitting at a Mexican restaurant.

Pretty much.

I felt a lot better about it after some carnitas.

Going to go try to get it out of the woods before the storms get here

Re: Re: The Gremlin - Toyota beater truggy build

Well the gremlin was extracted from the woods, and we tore down the motor, head gasket wasn't blown, but the bottom end was so wore out that 3 and 4 didn't have compression

This is why I like buying something already built! :****: I'd never have the patience to build anything

the gremlin's shakedown run...

Why does this thing sound like a tractor?

Why does this thing not turn?

I think the power steering fluid is boiling...
