Not unless you throw a heavy wallet at them. Thankfully, I have a 4cyl putting out 50 HP :afro:

what if u run a lite buggy and 36 inch tires?

i had a 83 toyota pickup, short cab short bed. it had a 4.3L vortec in it, had dirty 30's in the front axle. it would not hold the 4.3. the drivetrain was a 4.3L, Turbo350, and np208. it kept sheiring the pinion off the rear diff. i'd just find ya a set of ton's and roll with it...

but when it comes down to it, it is all about your driving style

, i have a friend with a 1986 SAS 4runner, 5.29 gears and detroits, he has 38.5 TSL's under his, and he barely breaks. he has a marlin crawler doubler, and is VERY light in the throttle. he has the 22RE

Nope, diffs wont hold up to anything more than stockish power/weight.

v8 rigs need bigger ring gears if you are going to rock crawl.
