Toyota fuel tank

Can anybody identify this fuel tank?

I know its toyota,, but dont know approx year or pickup or 4 runner.

Buddy of mine is looking for a replacement.
BTW.. carb engine.. no FI.

before you ask, its in a truggy that is an 83, but an 83 tank is way different.
He bought this truggy as is.

This tank looks like the one in Jessmo's 79...we just had it out recently for repair, and everything looks the same on your buddy's...

yeah i would go with a 1st gen tank

Yeah that is a first gen tank the one in my 83 is an exact match to that.

If it helps my 2nd gen tank looks ahellofalot off from the one in question.
