So tonight i decided to do some much needed maintence on my F350. changed the fuel filter, clean the air filter. Took it for a test drive, and had A LOT more power, both were caked. But i Knew there was something missing. I Checked all the boot clamps on the turbo and innercooler ****. Yup every single one was loose. Helped out a little, and doesnt sound like its gonna blow up anymore.

So if u Have a newer 7.3 PSD, check all your little booty clamps when you do your oil changes.

trust me it aint just a 7.3 thing.. It's a turbocharged diesel thing..

An engine swap will make you gitty as hell though :fawkdancesmiley: :haha:

I know when I took out my POS K&N last weekend and put in a new bigger paper filter it made a noticeable difference in power and the turbo spooled faster too. I need to do the fuel filter though, who knows how long thats been in there. Burning all that used motor oil, gear oil, and trans fluid probably doesnt help it either.
