you have a Willys MB. A little history for you:

Production of the Willys MB, better known as Jeep, began in 1941 with 8,598 units produced that year, and 359,851 units were produced before the end of World War II. The origin of the name "Jeep" has been debated for many years. Some people believe "Jeep" is a phonetic pronunciation of the abbreviation GP, from "General Purpose", that was used as part of the official Army nomenclature. The first documented use of the word "Jeep" was the name of a character Eugene the Jeep in the Popeye comic strip, known for his supernatural abilities (e.g., walking through walls). It was also the name of a small tractor made by Modine before WW2. Whatever the source, the name stuck and, after the war, Willys filed a successful trademark claim for the name.

that chev v8 with the 203 on the end almost touched the back axle. the rear driveshaft was about 3'' long. whoever did the welding and motor swap did a pretty crappy job.

the plan is to run 34s or 35s. the axles should hold up, the guy that we got it from said the axles have warn shafts or supiors or somethin like that. were building this thing from parts laying around so we'll see how it turns out.

go ahead build that rig and when its done watch it fall apart... the parts will reject eachother like oil and water.....jeeps and toyotas will never mix!!!!!!

I have seen a few jeeps with yota running gear. Pretty cool idea.....

same concept of putting toyota axles under a samuri added width for more stability and a large aftermarket!!! I was just flipping crap somebody had to say it!!

we already have the 5spd so were going to run with that.

went to the swap meet and were lookin for a front clip and came up with this.
