Wait till i straight pipe mine, u'll be trying to hump my exhaust pipe when you hear that turbo howl come outa there :clappy:
Me be thinkin I need to take you for a ride in my Ram once she's back on the road (soon I hope)

I know with the 6 liter fords with a straight pipe you could hear this odd whistle coming out the exhaust...

haha, thats for sure. my friend has a 4" straight pipe on his 6.0 and when he starts it up it sounds identical to a jet engine. you can barely hear the exhaust over the turbo whine in normal driving. then if he gets on it, it sounds like a 572 w/ headers and thats it.

I thought they sounded like a school bus going down the road....:D

More turbo noise---can't wait now :D

What intake are you going with?

I'll show ya the setup I did on mine some time. I just went down to the parts store and bought the biggest cone filter they had with a 4" opening, cost me about 50 bucks for a good K&N look-alike... cut about 5" off of a piece of 4" exhaust tube I had around, and clamped it to my stock intake hose, then clamped the filter to that and built a little support for the filter. Works great and sounds even better, and the filter is cleanable like the K&N's. :D
