Are oil sending units pretty much a generic part to all vehicles or are they make/model differances... I have a 350 SB in a Toyota and want to run the SR5 cluster of dash gauges which include the need to hook up a oil sending unit, is there a unit for this or will there have to be adaptors...

I had a controller that obviously was missed by QC and was sent with my winch...Long story short the controller burnt up on the second use...I bought this through E-bay and they didnt give me one hassle, I had another "better" controler on my door step with in a few days and my winch is back up...
