WTF?! Used tow rig for a decent deal, unpossible?

From a dealer, that sounds like what I've seen. My girlfriend paid 20k for an 04 ram 2500 5.7l, with a lift and 87k miles. Most seemed like that price with over 135k. I think the lower miles is why they're expensive, but they ARE excessively overpriced.

    9K winches

I have CSI, and it is hands down the slowest winch I have ever seen. It'd be ok for a trailer winch, that's about it.

    Lets see your tow rigs

Current tow rig: 84 turboed 6.9 w/gear vendor OD. Tow rig in progress: '80 360 auto and getting 4wd and partial resto.

    Wheel hop?

I'll be ditching the Toyos, then still running half. Normally I'll run 6-7psi in the snow, but like I say, I didn't have a pump that day. I only have the Toyos, because I bought a parts truck, with the tires, for less than the tires alone are worth. I'm not impressed, but I figured it's hard...

    Wheel hop?

If I'd slow down enough to maybe the whel stop spinning, it wouldn't do it at all.

    Wheel hop?

As soon as I get my other truck done, it's getting fixed. It's a little sketchy to have that cracked... I forgot an air pump that day, and there were a few stockish rigs with us, so I wasn't worried about it. I was just screwing around where I could.

    Wheel hop?

I'm not sure if it's all together, or side to side. The people who said it was hopping really bad were down a hill on the passenger's side. As for the track bar, I noticed a little while after this, that the bracket is cracking on the frame side, and the tires were about 13psi in Toyos that...

    Wheel hop?

True. I'd have the FOA's that came off with the TTB revalved, but they're 10's and I need at least 12's. Maybe I'll keep an eye out for new shocks, I want some anyway.

    Wheel hop?

I would think that's true for axle wrap, but I I don't see how links would keep hop away. The shocks I have are some kind of Bilsteins. They're older, but I can tell they are still good.

    Wheel hop?

I did a solid axle in my Ranger 2 months ago, and I was up in the snow, and I could tell the front tires were hopping a bit when I'd push snow, but I was told that there was so much, that they were waiting for my wheel studs to break off. I've never dealt with wheel hop before, but I'd like to...

    Ultimate snow tire?

I run 33x12.5 Trxus M/T's on my Ranger, and I love them. They do well everywhere, except wet pavement. They did pretty well on an open/open Ranger in the snow. I haven't run a lot of tires, but they put everything I have run, to shame. I'm getting a set of like 35x13.5x15 Toyos for cheap, and...

offoad tow truck in NW WA ?

I know Fred's Towing has recovered a couple rigs from Evans Creek. They have a 4wd F-550 I believe 4 door (it looks like a regular superduty, might be a 450) Then a mid 90's ford 4wd. Both have booms.

    What did you break today?!?!!

Not what I broke, but it's my friends and I was there. The very top of the upper 311 claimed the rear shaft in his 4 runner.

what would you expect to get for $15,000

I wouldn't even know where to begin with that kind of money for a rig!! If i had $15000 for a build, I'd start with a 93-7 Ranger for under 1500. The remaining $13,500 could probably get you a nice sas front with coil overs (I'm partial to the TTB though, but it's only good for so long)...

looking to get a drive line made

I forgot to add, I used Aukeen 3 years ago. He used my drive shaft, and basically turned a 2 piece shaft into a 1 piece using my ends, with a new tube, with new u-joints, and I want to say it was $285, but I'm not positive.

looking to get a drive line made

I used Aukeen driveshaft ( (253) 395-0392) in Kent for my Ranger after a doubler. Fordzuki helped me do the front shaft though. For a front I'm not worried about the vibration, but for a rear, I'd use Aukeen again in a heartbeat. I don't recall a price, but I know he used thicker walled...

So what did you and or your jeep get for Christmas

A GoPro is kind of for my Ranger. My girlfriend got me that. I have a bit to figure out about it.

    Greenwater

Ranger Creek? I've known it as Buck Creek. We were up they last weekend. As said, there's guard rail down both side, but you can drive down either side, along the camp sites.

    It Lives!

Good to hear your rebuild works! I rebuilt a Ranger A4LD back in June (I've heard it's basicsly a glorified C3-6 basically). It's definitely easy to wonder what you're getting into, but once you're in there, it makes a lot more sense huh?

    This does not sound good

I hadn't heard the alcohol part, but the group of my friends that knew them, I can definitely see it.
