hey there! had a quick question! i am gonna trade my streetbike possibly for a Jeep Cherokee. i see a whole lot of them are Auto. ive never owned a auto, always a 5spd and 4spd in the FJ60. just wondering what to expect off road with the automatic. and how reliable are the cherokee autos...
nice input everyone. i have had good experiences with both TG and MC. although TG does mimic MC, its cheaper and i havnt ever had anything break from them. but i like the idea of supporting MC since they are the originals..keep the replys coming. good to hear from every1.
-i talk 2 much- hah!
Hey guys, i was interested in some trail-gear rock sliders. will they hook up to my 86 toyota FJ60?? the 67" is the right length. here is the link to the sliders.
thanks. http://www.trail-gear.com/rocksliders.html
I picked up a 1986 toyota landcruiser (FJ60). it is stock but for a 3 inch EMU lift, and 33 superswampers. im gonna do a SOA to lift it some more. thanks for all the help guys.
what are the main differences in the fj60 and fj62??
All i can notice from looking at them is the 60 have round headlights, and teh 62 has square headlights. any input is helpful. thank you.
yup pretty much! haha. how do warn hubs compare to superwinch hubs and to stock yota hubs? is there a superior? i got a set of warns, and a set of superwinchs.
very tru! thats why im gonna wait for a good deal. hopefully a landcruiser cuz they are confortable and have plenty of room. also i herd they r pretty strong and capible machines. thanks for everything guys.
What i would do is just get a new block.
I have one that i just cleaned out if you want to buy it. 22rs are not to expensive and if i were you i wouldnt spend that much time on somthing that might not even work out. Let me know if you are interested in the Block.:awesomework:
-Good Luck:beer:
thanks for the info. i think im gonna look for a good deal on a landcruiser. i like them cuz they are also confortable and i have plenty of room for friends and random stuff.
cool. well i have been taking shop class. so i can weld prety damn good now. and i was pretty much raised in a garage, since my dad has been a mechanic for about 30 years. if i get somthing with ifs i probably will do a swap.
