i have these on a third gen with a 3.0l and a clocked t-case adapter. the only problem i have is i cannot not get my transmission to shift into R because it gets stuck in the t-case shifters. i am thinking if i get a second gen shifter that is shorter it might fix my problem i can take pictures...

Use marking compound and mark the pattern, measure the back lash. When you take it apart do not mix up the shims or caps You should be able to install it and not have problems just recheck the backlash and pattern. I don't remember the torque specs of the caps so you'll have to look that up...

i only ever run what we have at the shop... it varies form 75-90gl-5 to 80-90gl-5. Haven't had any problems in trans t-cases or diffs.

i have seen shoes come apart like that on cherokees mostly when they have a axle seal leaking but some times its just rust. i have also seen the riveted ones do the same thing but they flake off between rivets

just marlin eco seals and be done with it, all the other ones leak
