    evans creek work party

From what I heard from the FS lady that was up there on saturday, there was really nothing that the people at the work party could do about making a road out of the entrance to the 311. FS did not want the entrance fixed to make the trail easier, FS wanted the park to look less "torn up". I...

    evans creek work party

I was not trying to say that Those lines and utilities marking are the same thing. I was just trying to say that utilities marking dont stay visible very long on gravel or dirt.

    evans creek work party

Yes that was dumb. But is that really vandalism? Some dumbass spray painted some dirt. Its not like they spray painted the shitters, or the gazebos. As soon as the paint gets driven over a few times it will be gone. Whenever I see utilities located on dirt or on gravel the paint does not last...

They shouldnt need a bypass the rest of the trail is already nearley paved, and I dont think anyone will bypass the rockface.

    evans creek work party

Yah but soon enough most of those little rocks will be in the parking lot, and it will be just that.

    evans creek work party

I agree with you except for the fact that towards the end of the entrance to the 311 as we knew it, it was really nasty. I went up with a TJ and cherokee both were on 35s and locked in the rear and they could not make it (they hammered pretty hard.). And the rest of the 311 is pretty easily...

    How hard in what rig?

Evans creek 197 trail in the rain/snow is a lot of fun when open on 31's. With snow the upper 520 can be fun to.

    Washingtons most challenging trail?

x2 I have just started wheeling so my cj is open on 31s, and even evans is fun. It is pretty sad that all of the legal trails at evans are makeable open on 31s though. (very fun and some require hammering down but still makeable.)

    Evans trail closed?

I think the 102 going out of the entrance parking lot will still be open, so those who are not street legal should still be able to up the 311 or down the 102.

    Evans trail closed?

I didnt see any trail closed or decomissioned signs. And now that you say that they do look like a pretty sweet rock garden for a rig way more built than mine.
