Building this one out to a roller for a buddy here locally. 5.3,th400,205 steering rockwells. Some parts were salvaged off a donor rig, some bought just for this project. Here's some pics of how it's come along and were it's at now.

This is ride height correct?

I figured, but always looking for that next stupid low rockwell build.

I could've gotten it another 5-6" lower but sacrificed that to keep the steering behind the front axle, and not shove the engine all the way into the passenger compartment. Plus anything much lower is just gonna drag the belly everywhere. This should be in the 18-20 belly at ride and on a 120" wheelbase be a good all around height.

You're absolutely right about that. I'm at 118" wb and 18-19" belly. Another 2" of belly clearance would go along way for me. I hit my skid a time or 2 every time I wheel simply cresting over steep climbs. I have tons of uptravel so it would be a shame to raise it up. It is the downfall of me running Krawlers as opposed to 43s.

Got a bunch done today, Bearing mount minus some spacers to go in the middle of the mount, orbital mounted, bump stops, t case shifter, rear steer valve

Just Wondering how you plan to remove motor and trans? I'm trying to bend tech a chassis and it's not looking right to make room for removal of that stuff

It'll go out the top with a engine hoist. Is that what your asking?

Had it outside while doing some rearranging in the shop. Nice to be able to stand back and see it from more than 5' away
