I've mounted my AL fuel cell in the back of my jeep on a rubber mat. I've just the fuel pickup & return plumbed to the cell, plus a tipover valve installed. Do I need to add some type of ground wire from the fuel cell to structure? I'm thinking static electricity?

I never have. I think the "static" casuing blowing up stuff is just a wise tail....

I think it would take some "special" circumstances to have a problem, i.e. myth buster setting up a perfect scenario but can't hurt to ground everything.
