Boat Winch Custom

i was thinking abotu maybe doing a manual boat winch on the back or front of my truck until i get a electric one and where should i mound it bte bed of the truck so it doesnt look like **** and also would the winch work for a toyota 4x4 anyways i heard you can do that

It might work, but you'd probably be better off to just buy a nice big come-a-long and some straps and chains.
