Carb Rebuild

Is it worth while to rebuild a 22r Carb? Also, how in-depth of a job is it? I've never really messed with carbs, and the sea of vacum lines on it, so how difficult of a job is it for a carb noob?

Yes there are lots here who've rebuilt Toy carbs. Just not me. This thread may help

Just get a rebuild kit for it and follow the instructions. The rebuild itself isn't too bad, its the tuning afterwards.

The toy carbs are tricky and as joe states they are really tricky to tune. But if you do it---pay VERY close attention to the litte parts as those carbs have a ton of them...

I didn't trust myself to rebuild mine, and nobody here in town does import carbs, so i had to buy a $400 friggin' re-man, and YES th at was the best deal in town.....
