With out process, this build wouldn't exist.... No easy way around, or things to hide.

Here to win races. If a company can't tell you that, then I guess they are just selling you stuff.... And that goes for all of them
Humble too.. I like it.

You may want to re-read that. Those two pictures are of what others are using on chromoly. Davids link picture is further up, I think this is the most complete picture.

So I'm sittin here thinking, " I'll be dammed , he seems cocky but that ****er can weld and back his **** up!" And tha pics of the art work amazing welding aren't what he's building?? Pssshhhh.

Not much of a welder. It's just part of the gig.

Why are you building it so far off the ground? You going to lower it, or work off a step ladder on the of the cage?

What's holding you up on this?

Nothing. I'm on schedule.

Reckon I'll work on the top of the buggy when it's sitting at bump, almost ready to rock. Flat jig table just seems odd me cause I want suspension. :driving:

I had a welder work for me back in the "day" (pipeline welder) . Best welder I've ever seen. If you wanted to know how good he was, ask him, he would tell you. Spent more time telling you than showing you (he could back it up, just wouldn't). Had to let him go. Hmmmm. If you will turn your computer off and quit answering this **** we are talking and drop that hood, no problem. Good luck. BTW, if those are your welds, that's more than skills, that more like art!

Lot more to building a race car than welding it up

Dam right!! When I first started building my rig, my brother-in-law who I believe can weld just as good as anyone else, and I think probably should be after 22 years of doing it, he would stand there and tell me "you tell me what to do and I'll do it, but I have no idea about that ****". I'm not going to lie, I was hoping for the best:.. But the attitude that I see, makes me thankful that I'm not in his presence. Just cocky, obviously has financial backing (possibly spoiled) which a lot of people don't have the opportunity to have, yet still very cocky and a smart ass .. But honestly I could give two left testicles. I'm just waiting for the countdown. Maybe he will prove everyone wrong.. that would be okay .. I hate to see someone fail.. But it is a lot easier to watch someone fail that has been talking ****, and kind of taunting everyone. But once again podium is all were going for fellas.. podium I tell Ya !! :woody:
Another good thing that my brother-in-law taught me, was this.:: "you can have the prettiest welds around, in the mother****ers not be worth a ****" put that in your pipe and smoke it. I prefer papers. :woot:

Cocky.... Maybe. Spoiled.... Probably at one time. Different generation.... not sure. Confident.... Yes.

Sure I have a 10,000 square foot shop, but I'm not financially backed.

I build these at work during the week to pay my $500 monthly shop rent. Empty buildings litter this town.

If everyone and their brother isn't watching then I'm doing something wrong.

But to stop with the mess, I'll come back when it's go time.

Building this 4 seater too, with the same deadline.... ;)

That ***** is SEXY. What's up with the crazy tube thing you said you build for rent?

Been watching the build, rooting for you, but WTH is that tubing thingy?

Man I am rooting for you. But you're like a squirrel in the middle of the road

Why all the hate?

I try to push David and keep him going. But, the facts are clear. We have not seen a single completed project come out of the shop. We have not seen a single satisfied customer post up about his work.

I hope he pulls this build off for Adam Carter, Adam deserves it. However, those are the ugliest trailing arms I have ever seen by any builder. Never seen any shop, in any build thread, start a build at waist high. What little he has shown on the 4-link setup is already suspect looking to me.

Have you forgotten about the Jeep with the crazy cage and dash that never finished. Another shop finished that build. I will not share PM's from the owner, except to say his experience was not good.

So, yes. I pull for David, he is a great welder. I like him as a person. He did a lot of the work under Adam Woodlee on the 38 Special. But, at this point I have not seen anything that shows I would have him build anything for me.

Sorry, but that is how I feel. Now. David, prove me wrong by delivering Adam Carter's rig as a roller in race ready form on or before December 31, 2014.

I was asking redneckengineered why all the hate. His comments make it seem personal.

I agree with all that you said John. Both of his build threads have been ****. A lot less talk more action, would be something to think about.

Nothing personal. Just a bunch of BS talk that he has yet to back up. It's annoying. Yet we never hear about the builds he's ****ed up so far. I know of AT LEAST two.

Once we see something legit come out of Dynamite Disaster maybe I'll change my tune.

We keep bashing him and he's gonna leave hardline. Pleases don't take away my entertainment.

Nah technician, Im pretty sure we couldnt run him off. I think I have him figured out.. He likes it to much. If he didn't he wouldnt pop off like he was tha man .. I'm still bummed those work of arts I saw wasn't his work. Boooooo! had me going. Maybe wherever the picture of them trailing arms came from, DD could contact him and get a set of those? Those were SWEET! Think of tha time it would save Ya !!! And be badass!

I was hoping I wasn't he only one. I wonder if he's more into art than aesthetics because so far it's the ugliest stuff I've ever seen from someone with that kind of talent. He could out weld me any day of the week no doubt, just don't understand why he refuse to use simple clean lined fabwork for the sake of being different.
