H1 Wheel stud(?) change

Just wondering if anyone has any experience in changing out the beadlock studs on H1s to regular bolts. I searched and found very little except some one used 1/2-20 2" bolts to replace the studs. Nothing against the existing studs but the 1/2-20 flange nuts aren's easily availible in the area and seem to be expensive from vendors.

TLR - Could I just knock out the studs and put in 1/2-13 2" flange bolts with serrated flange nuts?

I have used 1/2" x 13 x 2" grade 8 bolts to replace messed up studs with no problems so far. I just used regular bolts, washers & nuts, nothing serrated or flanged.

Check out McMaster Carr for the flange nuts.

I grabbed some flange bolts and flange nylock nuts from fastenal. Some people were saying to stick with 1/2-20 instead of 1/2-13.
