Help!!!

If hes only paying 9 bucks a filter its cheap insurance....cummins little motors are picky bastards for clean fuel, and the size of the filter compared to what your working on is roughly have to 1/3 the size :awesomework:
It's even more critical on what I'm working on Sam, hence the main filter as well as a filter/water separator, and we have ISL's and ISB's in the fleet..:awesomework: The injectors are still ~$600 bucks a pop...And they DO fail regardless of clean fuel just like Jeff says...Every other oil change is MORE than sufficient according to Cummins, regardless of the engine family you have. The injectors aren't failing due to dirty fuel on our motors...Heck I just snap-tested and failed a set of injectors yesterday, even though the bus ran fine...Premature (As in less than 6 weeks since last cleaning) faceplugged Cat is the symptom...
The changing of fuel filters every oil change to save the injectors from failure is a myth...Guarantee just about everyone who's on that 'every oil change' regimen has or will have injector issues within a given mileage of those that do it every other. It is what it is, and you won't convince them otherwise. :awesomework:
