Yes, they can come out through the window. We have it were you can get the seats and the center console out very quickly to remove them. This way i can throw some extra tube in the lower section for strength. I can make them where it comes out of from the bottom but as most builders will tell you, that the seats and console still has to be removed. It really works out kind of well with an engine hoist through the window..

Also it has almost a perfect departure angle with the way the axle is set up...
