Here's a shortened up built thread for my truck since i bought it.

I was looking for a Toyota for a daily... nothing to wheel, or dump money into. I found this for $3500... 83,000 miles on it. this is right after I bought it and put 35s on it. It had bald 33tsls, brand new tg 4inch springs and a 3inch body lift when I picked it up

I was tired of driving on 35s with 4.10s so I did 5.29s with a grizzly in the rear and Spartan in the front.

I soon took the body lift off then wanted to build a bed.I can't find any pictures right now but it was just a bend here a bend there, a weld here and there.when I build the bed I did a new engnbldr.com head and "Crawler" .261 cam. Here's the bed and sheet metal all fresh out of the shop.

Then came a front bumper and warn m8000.
I wheeled it a few times and noticed it was time for new shocks, I wanted something rebuildable and something I could tune... That's when I met Craig from Ridgeline Motorsports and the real fun started.I went back and forth on what I wanted and wound up with fox 2.0 smooth body remote reservoirs for all 4 corners. I got all new leaf bushings, bought some 18mm bolts, drilled and tapped them instead of buying them from trail mart and got some ballistic Fab joints. I made my own shackles front and rear and mounts for the ballistic joints. I also made my own reservoir clamps. I also Frenched my rear spring mounts.

After playing around for a little while I wanted dual cases, didn't want to run the trail gear doubler and Marlin was out of stock, I went with the inchworm clockable doubler.coming from a machinist... they do Nice work on these! This doubler uses the Marlin bearing and the cases don't share oil.
This transfer case stuff was new to me so I had a buddy help me with the set up. I didn't have any top shift parts and the twin stick I bought for $25 was for a forward shift case..I drilled out the base so it would work and tigged up some cut down shift rails from a forward shift case.

The mill was open at work and I had a long runtime on the lathe so I programmed and ran some shifters. Made from 1.25x.5 crs. These have about .06 of floor in the middle.

I will make a knob for the gear shifter, the 3 t-case shifter will be without knobs since it's just forward and back.

I had seen 4x innovations made a tube crossmember and ever since I saw it I wanted one, so i picked up a DIY t-case mount plate from a guy who bought it from front range and made some solid pieces to for from .375 plate to tubing. I also picked up 4 feet of 2.5 .120 wall dom for drivelines.
Right now drive lines are done, crossmember is almost done, just have to get my drivelines in and add another mounting place from crossmember to frame.

My seats came in today, corbeau Baja Jp wides, I bought the rails to mount right into the truck and they were in within half hour, well worth the extra $200 for the rails.

Big Thanks to Ridgeline Motorsports!

I also just got some 27spline longs for a good price. I got a set of stock Toyota hubs with long hub gears that I built a bumper for a guy and That's what he paid with.

I will be doing some more tube work in a few months, going to finish an exo, tube the front fenders and a few other odds and ends. I have some gussets to make, I will do the same honeycomb work for the gussets.

I will update this as I get some more work done.

So I have a new front driveline kit from trail gear on the way, the one I had sucked, it was so sloppy you could go more than 20mph in 4wd without the truck sounding like it's going to come apart. I have to redo my rear driveline, it's kind of short so I'm thinking that's causing the loud noises I have when coasting.

I also have a hub stud kit on the way so I can run the stock Toyota hubs and long hub gears that I have.

This thing has come a long way man! It's looking better by the day. We will get those shift boots made up soon. Oh, and thanks for the business!!

Those shifters look really really uncomfortable...i can understand the twin sticks...cause you dont use them as much, but the tranny shifter?? I think i would get really annoyed with it. IMO of course...

I'm going to make a knob for the regular gear shifter... I have been driving it all week and can't really complain, they are deburred real well. Haha

Picked up the 37" old style MTR s that were on Craigslist a few weeks ago. After hunting season I will have to mount my spare. I have an air tank ready to weld up that I will finishing after hunting season as well.

Whoever designed these studs is a genius!

I'm going to drill the hubs for more studs instead of the 2 stock pins... I just have to have something to work on and the won't cost me anything.
I need to move my axle forward a little. I think I will just re drill my perch and trim my fender until I link the front.
