Looking to see if anyone here has had some experiecne with them. Im looking to get a new 22re for my truck and they have a unlimited mileage lifetime warrenty. For about 1700 bucks I can get a rebuilt motor with a new head, oversized valves, cam, port and polish, slightly higher compression ratio with keith black pistons. I did a little research on pirate and its either really good or really bad from them. Enginebuilder chimed in and says that he knows that guy and that the guy uses some of Enginebuilders parts for his motors. Im just looking for more info from anyone before I make my decision.

I thought about them, but when I called them, I didn't like the answers I got. They didn't have a motor at that time, and they weren't gonna look for one unless I was to bring one in for them. I was treated very rudely. I know a guy on timbercrawler got one from them and is happy with it! Here's another one that uses enginebuilders stuff and have been known to sell enginebuilders motors too. http://www.bnmengines.com/ They have a 143 hp 22re.

Check with e-bay, there is alot of Portland companies that sells 22re's.

I got my 22re from a local guy here in Tillamook that is notorious for his need for speed. I got it for $1350 + 150 for core. All new parts including a complete new head. He has taken some of LC's high end motors and made them better! Here's my build up http://www.nw-wheelers.com/forum/showthread.php?t=13911

I know alot of the rebuilders that give long warranties, you have to jump throw some serious paper work and all the break in has to be documented and you can't install it yourself. I did alot of calling around before I got the motor I got. Good luck.
