Got started on a new build, rounded up a runnig YJ with a clean title for $200.Stripped everthing down and sold axles, motor, trans gas tank and radiator and made money.Got a complete 5.3/4l60 from 01 gmc 2wd.,and ended up swapping the 4l60 for a turbo 350/205 combo from a military truck.Got a 14 bolt cleaned up and stripped down but still need a d60.Planning on single trianguled 4 link front and rear, full hyd. steering,44s,5.13s,coilovers,and alot of tube work. Here are a few pics of the tear down and mocking up motor mounts. Please feel free to comment, all suggestions appreciated.

Mount the drivetrain solid... if you are going to do it the way you have it shown with the bushing at the chassis, put a crossbar under from one mount to the other thumb.gif

Were the heck you find a running yj for 200 bucks ! Id buy 2 of them for that kinda money ! laughing1

P,thanks for the advise, once I figure out whay oil pan I'm gonna use I was planning on connecting the motor mounts.Got the crossmember notched out today, set in place ready to weld.

The guy I bought it from hit a stump and broke the springs off and drove the driveshaft through the t-case and was gonna scrap it.I saved it just in time.
