We are looking to take a group down in the next few weeks. Anyone have any experience with this park? We will probably have a mix between stock to heavily built Jeeps, side x sides, and a few buggies. Can this place give us all something to do and have fun with? Any information would be great.

It's a good park. It has so many trails it is a little hard to find you way around. Most trails are marked but some of the newer trails aren't. there are a lot of trails with mud at the base of the park. More hills and trails without mud as you go up. It has several big climbs for buggies and built jeeps. Great park for sxs. We took our jeeps (CJs with lockers and 33swampers) the first trip and the trails were either too easy or too difficult but maybe we didn't find the right trails. I would suggest talking with office about finding someone to show you around. We found some local guys to guide us one day, it made a huge difference on finding good trails. They have cabins and trailers to stay in. We got a cabin the first trip. It was nice but small, no kitchen but full bath. We got a trailer 2nd trip. Much bigger, full kitchen and full bath. They have nice bath houses as well. They have 2 atv/dirt bike tracks. One is close to the cabins/trailers. It was nice for my sons on sport quads.

There is PLENTY to do for everyone.

Can't remember rates on cabins, maybe in the $40 range a night plus tax. They are nice little units. Bunk beds, fridge, shower, heat and a/c, microwave. Have an outdoor grill.

Tent camping is allowed too with a bathhouse within driving distance. I walked one time and damn near **** myself on the walk over.

Amenities are great and trails are coming along nicely too. Dry there are only a few extremely ridiculous trails, a lot more extreme, moderate is a plenty and just trail riding for a whole weekend. Wet is another story. Some of the trails we walk in a stock 800 RZR become impassible by big blocks with 47's. I will post a few videos for example.

Cross posting from another thread to save typing. This list will grow and I will keep posting up videos to get you an idea of what you guys want to try and see/hit.

For full on buggies and built rigs you can have a day and a half to two full days of riding if you know where to go. Never think you are putting Tyler out if he volunteers to show you around. He loves to show folks around and will let you know if it is busy and has to get to another task. I will take a small group 5-7 rigs around to show folks what's new and what they want to see. If it gets to where there is a bunch just chomping at the bit. Maybe we can make a small list of have to hit trails and just line up and back to back hit them, then move on.

x2 on getting Matt ( Busted Knuckle) to go out with you. Not only does he know the park pretty well, he usually brings out cameras for those looking to get internet famous.

I'll think on it for a minute and try and get you a list of hills to hit. There have been 5 or 6 added this year that are buggy friendly. One is unclaimed and is pretty freaking dangerous if you ask me. It's called Oregon Trail and has multiple lines that could possibly kill you. Thinking on it....I really need to name the lines something like Typhoid & Cholera. Someone will eventually make these, but not many have the balls or rig to even get to them, myself included. Anyhow, here's a list that I will try and update as more trails get cut in.

Tyler (Stony_Lonesome_OHV_Park on here) is the park manager, Bobby (ExpensiveDreams on here) & Kel (lowbudgetjunk on here) know the park like the back of their hands and I highly recommend hooking up with them.

There are now trails at stoney for stock samurais and hills NO buggy will ever climb... It is a wonderful park & y'all will love it! Be prepared for lots of dust if your group insists on hauling a**

Thanks for the info. We will be down there on the 19th. Anyone that wants to tag along with us is welcome. We will at least feed you lunch.

Bobby and I may be helping with the races in the morning. If we aren't needed, we may be available to show you guys around.

There's a couple that haven't been climbed. Balls, HP and dialed in suspension would be on the list of things needed to make it to the top.
