Two guys played piano in a bar I can't remember the name of. It was on Opelika Rd in an old house. It was kind of comedy based but they were also talented pianists. Steve, JJ, Hagan, Matt or Terry....any clue to the names of the two guys? The house had multiple step downs and should've been leveled long before I ever got there. My memory is fading faster than it should.

Was one of the guys named Tim Tyler by chance?
That's the only guy I can think of that played in the early 2000's.

Hello Lurker. Haven't seen you in a few years. Glad to see you are still on the inter web forums. And very possible on Tim Tyler. I want to say one guy was mixed/black and one guy was white.

The bar I remember, but no clue about piano's. Never remember a piano being played anywhere.
What was that damned bars name? I know it was once called The Lumbar Yard, but that's wasn't the old school name.
Remember, I was at Auburn from 94-98, then came back in '02 for round TWO until 2012...

And... what the hellokitty is this lurker?! I know who it is, but I had no clue you were on here!

I remember Tim Tyler playing with a black guy, sounds right.
Was the bar called Bottchers? Eric saying Lumberyard reminded me of it.

Guess I am a lurker on here... Usually pretty entertaining here

BOTCHERS! That's it.
The guy's name was Botcher

They had stupid cheap and big LIT's one night. We'd sit out on the deck and joke that it will fall off the hill if anyone else comes out on to it. It was a joke... but sometimes I feared it.

All of the best things about Auburn are gone. No wonder I don't go back often.

1) The strutting duck
2) Buffalo Connection
3) Great American Park

I just want a 32oz LIT and AYCE wings with a table full of us again, or the entire back patio full of folks watching Rock Rods!

I wonder who owns that building. It is in an awesome location. and managed properly, could do very well. Buy it and name it 'KnuckleHeads'

Still sitting empty. "Shelia C's Burger Barn" next door is good stuff, though.

All this reminiscing has got me thinking of coming down on Chrihmus and hanging out a few days. I'm single, no chi'ren, no place to go, might as well go down and walk the dog on campus and junk...
Unless anyone is actually WHEELING that weekend, but typically not.

Strutting Duck Wing night = good times! 25 cent 32oz beer, 10 cent wings music every night!

Champs only place in town you could do your laundry and drink beer and enter dart tournaments. Live music.

I did get the pleasure of throwing back a few beers with the Mathews of Terry this weekend.

Has anyone been to The Silver Spur lately?
Ultrabox?
Malibu?
Harry's? "Til the Sun comes up, or the girls go down"

I miss 1990's Auburn.

This is all I know about Auburn, I got escorted out of Highlands after two 32oz LITs, a mild case of assault, and brief nudity :****:

The 4 beers and 3 shots I took right before we left the apartment probably didn't help

I hatted Highlands.

Auburn has changed so much in the past 5 years. I drove all around AU Sunday and was amazed at all the changes. I miss it. :( We tried to go eat at Mellow mushroon Sunday and got denied. So many people no place to park huge wait. Went to the old Johnny Bruscos and ate large!
