Little Gibby's 45 MB

Now to retain the tank in place on the standoffs. I went and made some retaining straps, that sucks the tank down against the standoffs.

And here they are in place (tank is VERY solid). The strap assembly encapsulates the tank on both upper corners.

Some close ups of how the strap assembly mounts. Down at the floor area/front of the tank.

And at the back of the tank on the cage.

Mike, again I just have to say WOW!

I was really going for something simple. But that didn't seem to happen :haha:

And to add, all the holes through the standoffs (1'x1" square tubing) are sleeved also for strength.

to top...

Mike have you had a chance to find the P/N for the orbital you are going to use for the 45?

So I am wondering if "Little" Jackson is going to be "Little" by the time the Willy's is done? :D

Much longer and I doubt it!

Still waiting for a bill to at least settle up some of the work.

Mike, we need to get this to a point that I can haul the tub home and get the entire thing Line-X'd and or painted. I'm not sure what you have structurally left that you want to do that doing this would get in the way? After that's done everything can go back on.

UPDATES: Jackson is starting Middle Linebacker for the Seattle Seahawks and is still waiting for the Willy's. More to follow?:redneck:

Crash, check your PM. I need a measurement on the tube to order the hydro steering.

I did---got this super cool tilt column thing a ma job :redneck:

I haven't had a chance to check the steering travel dale--been a busy week but I should have it monday morning.....

Now--as for trans talk so we can get this figured out. I like that turbo charged 3.8--cool motor but I am worried about the turbo outlet/inlet on the drivers side with clearance isues on the brake stuff.

It looks pretty high, but it should be able to be fairly easily re-routed, maybe just straight up... I don't have a problem with putting a hole through the hood if need be.

I like the NP205 since you already know how to twin stick that one... Gonna be too long though huh?

I am thinking so. Maybe we can get a measurement of the 465/205 mated and go from there.

Hole thru the hood---oh heck no :fawkdancesmiley:

Jackson is having his 30th Birthday Party and has forgotten all about the Willy's now. Maybe his kids can enjoy the outdoors.:redneck:

Just joking. It is nice to see more movement! IT'S ALIVE!:D
