Izzy was just a single example of what has been lost, I simply mentioned it because just like always people are here running their pie holes about absolute bullshit...it's like a history lesson in the 3rd Reich propoganda machine around here.

To answer your questions Charlie:

1. No
2. Yes, like I said, it'll be a great place to wheel if you like Walker Valley.

That being siad, does it mean that I will not participate in DNR trail building & other activities? No

Does it mean that I will continue to call you and others out on their bullshit? Yes

Folks can push the blame to whatever or who ever they want. But the bottom line still falls on the apsects of what caused us to be where we are. Folks out cutting new trails, folks out running single tracks and causing more damage, folks out basicly doing what they please. I hate to say it but I agree with the bikes-- the 4x4 cummunity has done far wrose damage to reiter than any other usergroup out there.

We can sit here and push the blame here and there but thats not going to get us anyplace. Its just going to creat havoc and anger amoungst ourselfs and thats not what we need right now.

I agree with Crash. Don't tell anyone.

I already hate everyone so it won't really matter. And clearly I'm in it for myself.:awesomework:

I dont think anything in the past matters at this point. The chips have fallen.

And with that said we can only work with what they are going to give us as far as land. But they are alot more open to ideas of what we can do, than a few years ago from what I have read and seen. ORV users have a golden opportunity to give some constructive input on what is going to happen and what they want to see in the future.

Answer to question 2- Yes.

and lets see what you came up with and what your ideas are

To answer your questions Charlie:

1. No
And what makes Izzy so special that it couldn't be recreated in another spot

What I came up with is that you're never going to be able to recreate a area like upper izzy in the new Reiter due to the natural terain. That's just reality.

They did it in tahuala(sp). (I can never remember how its spelled)..

And I believe they are doing something very simular at elbe..

I think the upper portion of IZZY is a prime example of perfect conditions for a trail minus the water running down it. Hard pan(once all of the soil was gone) and lots of round boulders.

I beg to differ you have NOT done you research. YOU are just shooting you mouth off as an uninformed person that thinks they know it all and never truthfully explored the new concept area to it's fullest potential
Before posting please confirm that what you are posting is the truth and not some made up BS that YOU believe is the true
Lets keep this on facts, Not your own concept of fantasy

Take your own advice.

And then stop thinking that you represent the rest of us when you open that hole under your nose with the DNR and whoever else your brown nosing

why do these threads always turn out to by cry baby blaming everybody else for what has happened?

get over it, do something about it. or shut the hell up.

i agree. does anyone know if the dnr is going to let us help build the new trails?

whats dopne is done its closed lets just hope that we can make it better while it is

Yes, of course the DNR will allow us to help build the new trails. They need/require the volunteer help in order to do so.

They need us for labor, not necessarily for input as to how the trail is designed. They have rules and guidelines they must follow in regards to ORV trails. Walker Valley is a prime example of volunteers assisting the DNR with trail building and maintenance.

All you need to do is look at a topo map to see that there isn't a terain at the new Reiter that matches the top of issy. If you want to talk about facts show me where I'm wrong. I asked you when was the last time you were at the top of issy? Do you even know what was there?
The whole point of this is that we lost issy and you seem to want to change the subject.

I ask you to answer a question. And this is the informed answer you come back with

This is a pretty ****ing sad little pissing match over something that as of Nov. 2nd is only a memory.

I say that everyone just shut the **** up and get over it.

I say that life will go on and if there is help to be given, just be ready to give it if they ask.

Unless you work for the DNR, or are the people that "might" be appointed as the consultant, you don't know ****.

NOWIRES...you're not impressing anyone here.
