Need to give the rest a good cleaning, replace the center gauge bezel, and refinish the floor console to match.

Beautiful car! What a classic body style. I'm hoping you get waves and smiles every time you take that thing out on the road.

I'm looking forward to watching your upcoming engine build.

I've gone green!

Swapped the dash light LEDs from HiPo parts out to Green SMDx6 LEDs from superbrightleds. Also swapped the dome and map lights out to white LEDs.

Pulling the rear end to swap in a powetrax no-slip, alloy axles, and fresh wheel bearings. Probably will clean and paint the housing since I went this far... Then I'll put fresh springs, sway bar, and cal tracs bars in.

Gee, I wonder why the driver's side sat lower than the passenger side...

These are the factory tie down brackets... They are supposed to be removed by the dealer when it's prepped for sale.

Factory rear sway bar.. It's kinda cute, huh?

Got some 1.5" plate steel arbor plates for my press, and put it to work pressing the rubber bushings out of the new springs to replace them with the aluminum bushings that come with the caltracs bars.

Caltracs bars and global west delalum shackles.

Great build! I really like this generation of Mustang. We had a yellow 72 in the family until the old man decided he wanted a 'sensible' car. :wtf:

New vs old rear sway bar:

The original drive shaft is really crusty, pitted, and ready for retirement.

And the rear awaiting a cleaning, moser axles, fresh wheel bearings, and swapping the lock-rite for a powertrax no-slip.

Spent the last two weekends jumping on parts deals for my two pickups. I have next week off so I will get some progress done on the Mach.

Found out most of the clunking I heard while driving from the rear was the f'd up left tail pipe hitting the rear axle...

New aluminum drive shaft from street or track showed up, so I put the slip yoke on it, and dropped the rest of the exhaust out. Manifolds are up next.

Got the manifolds and steering linkage out tonight.

:awesomework:

I thought after not seeing anything for so long, and now this thread is back, it was to announce the car had been stolen/totaled/sold and we wouldn't see it truly come to life.

:awesomework:

This year of 'Stang is my favorite. The original 'Gone in 60 Seconds' had one of these, well a couple of them, only in the Ford orange.

Fawk... First roadblock. '73s have 1 year only motor mounts that aren't reproduced. 71/72 poly mounts don't work with '73 frame brackets. Working on getting 71/72 frame brakets.

hard to tell for sure in the pic, but looks like you can unbolt the halfs of the poly, flip it and reasemble with the sloted hole moved

Sweet ride:awesomework: Hope the truck parts work for ya. I got the truck on the trailer today, so if you still want the 9" I will yank it out tomorrow?
