HAR - Hardline Forum Ride - October 10-12, 2014

Is the North Evarts Campground full too? It's the one beside the tracks with the bathhouse. RV hookups there as well as primitive camping that has electric (110) available. This is where I normally stay and it has video surveillance too.Plus it's on the way to the trail head. And yes all the hotels are back in the city of Harlan, bout 10 miles away.

Not sure. Wife called. Guy said cabins were full. we don't have a camper, and wife is OUT for a tent in the fall. so, we are getting hotel in town.

I don't have a camper/RV either....that's why I like my Suburban. Queen size air mattress and ceramic heater and I'm set! :dblthumb:

Dang thats nice i am surprised your rig will fit in one that's awesome though good trade

I wouldn't plan on parking any extra stuff in the camp ground behind dairy hut. It will be TIGHT if it's full.

How bad does it suck changing 2 wheels EVERY TIME you go out?

Its not bad at all. With air tools goes really quick. Figure the amount of time it takes to set up a tent and unpack is more time than it takes me to bolt on front wheel and tires. And i get to sleep in the dry :)

Then when i get home instead of having to unload everything i can just leave it in the trailer until i get some free time

That one is first come - first serve - no reservations. There's generally room there.

Yep...cuz it's a half day drive from there to the other side of the mountain where everyone meets up...or at least it seems like it takes that long. The camping area is nice and clean over there though...bath house is nicer from what I've heard also.

North Evarts camp ground is on the left as you turn on to the road the park is on. It is closer to the Evarts trail head than Dairy Hut. He's not talking about Putney which is in BFE.
