Lets talk snow camping

I have been snow wheeling...but would like to push the fun that much farther and go camping.

what the does and don'ts? what should we bring? I'm in a buggy so no in rig sleeping for me.

Well don't get lost.That would be the 1st of the don'ts.

First do; make sure you have enough food for 3 days longer then you are staying.

You need everything you would for snow wheeling PLUS everything you need for camping.
 
bring tender to start a fire... most out there will be wet.

dont play with fire/gas cans after you are drunk :haha:

dont melt tent w/fire

after all else fails get in truck, turn heater on, go back to sleep
 
Insulate yerself from the ground, Extra pillows and extra wood for the fire. I usually have some of those heat pads that ya crack to get em going by my feet when i sleep.

tent/tarp/catalytic tent heater (always keep your 1lb bottle in your tent or you burn the top of your tent off)/something to keep you off the ground.

And----a java press :;
 
ziplock bags are a must... all extra socks, undies (man panites for some of the more metro-natural campers) ... pack in there to keep dry
