'84 yota long bed build

That doesn't look like you in the pictures. You better be payin him well :redneck:

Looks good. Need to move the front axle forward!

that's my neighbor measuring stuff and my dad taking the pic. the axle already went forward 2 inches with the rear springs up front. we moved the rear axle about 3 inches forward with the waggy springs. and i'm now back at about 112" wheelbase... we'll be tubbing the front fenderwell and cutting the fender back. the 35's look like roller skate wheels... especially after seeing what 38's look like...

one pic i overlooked and forgot to post.

Damn Jared! The kid up the street just got his big lift, high steer, and 37s on. My truck's looking smaller and smaller the whole time. And still open ta boot.
I've got the money to buy the Detroit I want, but I'm headed to Hawaii later this afternoon for a week. I'll need money to spend. Tough call. lol

Can't wait till the Summer to get wheeling with you man.

well i got some brand new 35x15.5's for sale :;, my projects are why i never go on non-military sponsored vacations... i guess i should take that back. As long as my mexico chit goes through the command today, i'm going to the SCORE baja 250 race in Ensinada, Mexico. To watch my buddy's uncle race and help pit his class 7 truck. :clappy: :cheer:

You should contact Ken, he's looking for some better tires. My truck won't get any bigger for awhile. 33s rub enough already. lol

Baha sounds pretty cool too. Take photos of the action.

i'm still waiting for the marine corp to approve it... which is another reason i can't wait to be out. i don't have to go through twice the paperwork to leave the country, and someone else decide if it's safe for me or not... (i survived iraq, i think i'll survive mexico... :haha: :haha:   ) if i go i'll fill my brand new 2 gig memory card for my camera!

well got some more pics from my dad. the springs comprise of waggy rears, and mix waggy and toy rears up front. he flexed it up a little to see how the springs do. i'm pretty darn impressed! just over 28" of flex with tires aired up and no weight on the back end! here's some pics, enjoy!

that rear one is pretty close to the tire rubbing the frame. by cutting that, would it make the tire flex closer to the frame? and it's a chevy shackle that's 6 3/4 inches eye to eye. too long to be be unsupported? side hill effects?

well got my sky, billet high steer and steering box on order  last big purchase till i get out of the corp or i file my taxes...
