i have these on a third gen with a 3.0l and a clocked t-case adapter. the only problem i have is i cannot not get my transmission to shift into R because it gets stuck in the t-case shifters. i am thinking if i get a second gen shifter that is shorter it might fix my problem i can take pictures...
Plan to fix:
Front axle u-joints
Injectors
Lift pump retrofit (unless already done)
Rebuild tranny
Minor hvac concerns
Other than that short but expensive list you
should be good.
By plan I mean just expect some of the above
at 108k you should be able to call the customer service hotline for dodge and complain enough to get them to goodwill it... i've seen it done on these before because its so common of a porblem

What kind of driving do you do do you let it idle like diesel people always do? Do you drive on the freeway alot? tow alot?
yes the older Chrysler alarms will start and die that aftermarket ones will not i know this for a fact... but if that is the case try unlocking the drivers door and the hatch those are the only two disarm switches. this will only work for factory alarms
