    Starter Solenoid Wiring Issue

Hey all! I've been having issues with the starter solenoid on my boat for a while now. I think when I rebuilt the engine I mixed up some wires to the solenoid. Right now there is a draw on the batteries. It seems like simple wiring, but I am mentally challenged when it comes to wiring. :mad...

So I've been wanting to build a roll cage for awhile now and have been doing some research on the grade of material to use for a roll cage. I'm not talking about DOM vs. HREW because those are two of the processes in how tube is made. I want to figure out what grade of material (A513 C1026...

Finally got a tow rig..... might need injectors

After a lot of waiting and searching I finally got a rig. Its a 2006 Dodge Ram 3500 5.9l QCLB 6 speed manual, seems to be all stock. Of course, after buying it I noticed that there is a bit of a vibration at idle. I know it's a diesel, but my brother's 04 with new stock injectors doesn't...

98 Saturn: bad head and/or engine

I'm working on a 98 Saturn SL2 1.9L DOHC has just under 136,000 miles. A friend brought it to me thinking it was the head gasket because there was coolant and oil all over the engine and it had overheated. I pressure tested the cooling system to discover a leak at the waterpump. So that...

    Just another toyota build

Well, I've had this truck for almost 2 years now, thought I would start a build thread. It sat for a year while an engine swap happened in my brother's rig, finally got in the garage in April of last year. It's a 1985 Toyota Pickup 4wd. I've done what feels like a lot of work, but for a lot of...

    U-bolts

Looking to buy some ubolts for the ubolt flip on my toyota axles cause I'm making my own plates. Anybody know of a local place that sells the 3"x7-9"x 9/16" ubolt. Or is it just better to go online? The local hardware store doesn't have what I need.

    Pinion and pinion bearing welded????

My toyota V6 third has a stuck pinion/pinion bearing. I took it to a shop and they said they put 15 tons of pressure on the pinion, but nothing happened. Could you cut the pinion from the bearing with a torch, or could that warp the housing? Or should I just buy a new housing. Looking for ideas.

    toy axle alignment

Need to assemble my front axle finally! With new steering arms and 25mm pin upgrade I need to set the alignment. Can I do this without buying the kit from Marlin? Or is there somebody that can do it for cheaper than buying the kit? Or can I make my own kit? Thanks, Landon

    1989 Ford 351W

Ford 351W Distributor Gear Chewed up 2 summers ago I rebuilt a 1989 Ford 351W in my parents' boat. We had issues going through dizzy gears. First, the shop that did the work mounted the iron gear too low and it was compressed in the block. We put a new iron gear on and it was wearing funny...

    2010 Ford F-350

My Dad's 2010 F-350 was having starting issues, took to the dealer and found out that coolant was causing a short. The head gaskets went on it after about 15,000 miles. Anyways, thought it was interesting and will attempt to share the pics the tech took.

    Engine options: 3RZ, 7M or 5VZ

Ever since I got my rig back in June I have been researching and seeking the strongest way to build it. I am going to college, so funds are very tight, but I want to do it right the first time. Anyways, my rig is an 85 Toyota 4x4 pickup with a 22re. My plan is to build the entire rig and then...

My brother and I are in the process of converting his 1980 Toyota 20R to 22RE. He got the engine from a 1984 toyota celica. The guy was trying to make it a drift car but had some issues. 1) wouldn't rev over 2500 rpm. 2) didn't have enough power for him. He put dual valve springs and an...
