If your ground wire to battery, body and drivetrain is missing one of those legs it won't start.

Do you have a ground wire to the solenoid? Electricals need power and ground to work! Also, I just had a problem with the valve seat in my tank freezing so it couldn't fill or allow fuel out. With the valve in teh vertical position, pour warm (not quite boiling) water over it.

Liquid systems are for injection only. It has to be pumped and requires special injectors and pumps (I have a book on it someplace)
