    '84 yota long bed build

Not a chance in hell! Just another income and time hiccup. Organic Chemistry, Cellular/Molecular Biology and DD vehicles have been eating up my time. I got a '98 forester now though, and I'm trying to get rid of my S10 pickup and lil' roo to pay off the debt for the new computers for school...

    '84 yota long bed build

a little more progress today, finished painting the hubs, then cleaning the overspray... Then I setup the Aussielocker, which was an interesting task in itself, not hard but i used 2 different carriers and was getting the same out of tolerance measurement for the spacers... Called the US dealer...

Chromolly or 300M custom Axle stub shafts?? where can i get them made?

if it's too pricey i'll just find a IFS toyota rear axle and swap it in... since the subaru already has 4.11 gears in the diffs... i just need a stock ifs toyota rearend to swap in to meet the same track width. i just don't feel like putting a solid axle in the rear...

Chromolly or 300M custom Axle stub shafts?? where can i get them made?

i'll look into them. the major problem is a bolt goes through the center and the stubs are hollow.

Chromolly or 300M custom Axle stub shafts?? where can i get them made?

Basic run down, the weakest link of a subaru rearend is the CV shaft cups and the stub axle that goes into the rear diff. Since it appears i'll be hanging onto the subaru longer than i thought i need to look into getting some custom stub shafts made, a small run of 2 to 4 depending on the cost...
