That's my biggest complain about it. And GMP isnt that big i bet it's a traffic jam from hell there. Love the park, SWFDA is alright too but i'll wait and go the weekend after or before and save some beer money.
 
Gosh....you guys don't wanna over pay 80$ to ride with people you could ride with anytime at a park you could ride anytime with 90% less trail cloggers?

Yall aren't true offroad community supporters. :p

It's not that bad really . Most people stay off the fun stuff.

I think of it as more like a fundraiser to support the hobby we all enjoy so much. The price goes towards a good cause and helps weed out a lot of the bad apples as well. I've been to the past 2 Dixie Runs and I don't plan on missing another. If you like to ride with good people who love trail riding, come to Dixie Run, you won't be disappointed.

We are the Southern Four Drive Association, a non-profit organization of 4 wheel drive clubs and individual members in the southeastern United States. Formed in 1987 our association is dedicated to promoting four wheel drive recreation on both public and private lands, off-road education, responsible land usage and OHV trail conservation. SFWDA proudly supports Tread Lightly, Blue Ribbon Coalition and the United Four Drive Association.

SFWDA supports and facilitates projects throughout the year at the club, state and regional levels. Consistent with our stated mission the purpose is to respect and protect our valuable natural resources and promote responsible land usage in both the public and private sectors. SFWDA works in close cooperation with the U.S. Forest Service (USFS), state agencies in various regions and also private land owners. The SFWDA member clubs and individual members contribute thousands of man-hours each year on projects. Our member clubs work on projects at Uwharrie National Forest (NC), Beasley Knob (GA), Sandlick (KY) and many other locations throughout the southeastern United States. Each of these projects encompass working with land use agencies, local government agencies and land owners to facilitate responsible land usage and OHV trail conservation.

That's what I'm hoping for. This will be my first time attending Dixie Run.

Last year after the rain the access trails got backed up ...was really bad on Saturday night...but as soon as you got off those you were ok.

Still not sure im going to make it. My wheeling budget too a big hit with the colorado trip... and the whole dumping money into this South Carolina property :dunno:

I've never had problem either at Dixie Run GMP. I agree with you about Dixie runs at tellico
