It appears there is a move afoot in Moscow on the Potomac to extend "unemployment" benefits from 99 to 150 weeks. Research has shown that somehow folks on unemployment magically find work just before the benefits run out. I can't imagine any reason to extend benefits other than to produce a permanent underclass which has no choice but to continue to vote for more and more socialist programs. Somebody please correct me if I'm wrong.

Second rant today!! The EPA is stalling on approval for an oil pipeline from Alberta, Canada to Houston which would bring 700,000 barrels of crude a day to American refineries. The Canadians have said that if it is not approved by Nov. 1 that they'll sell the oil to China. O-blame-a says he wants to create jobs and get off of foreign oil, I'd certainly rather give my money to the Canucks than OPEC! And can you imagine how many good paying jobs would be created by a project of that size? I'm sure Wyatt knows more about this than I do, but my hair hurts when I see **** like this. Is there any other explanation than an intentional attempt to destroy the economy (Dow down 300 points right now) :afro: gotta go

It's not quite 3 yrs, dude, give me a break. Anyway, I was on unemployment for nearly three months and I have to tell you it sucked. You have to call in every week and spend at least 10 min. on the phone to get your money. Then they don't send you cash, they put it on a debit card. This makes you have to use an ATM for cash, which is a lot of work finding the cheapest one, believe me (the ones in the bars and casinos are expensive so you have to walk like a block around the corner for the best deal.) Plus since you're not working, you have a lot more time to waste money, which is shitty, too. I spent way too much timeInDaShop said:

Yep, mother ****ers that want to work will have a job, it is that ****ing simple :****: I had 3 ****ing jobs for the past 3 ****ing years. And since one of them was ****ing retail I constantly heard all the bullshit from the non working ****s about how "I've been out of work for 6 months now... my so and so had to go to BFE to find work... everything is so expensive now..."

I don't have a college diploma, and always amaze myself (and probably some of you) with the stupid things I do, but I have 3 jobs!!! And have a past employer wanting me to go back to work for them. I get my ass up outta the bed everyday and go to a job I don't enjoy and come home tired and dirty most days. I guess that it's easier to sit on the couch and listen to the wife bitch than it is to pick up trash, dig ditches, or wash dishes, but you know what, at the end of the day I EARNED my money. So pardon me for not really caring about the whole "pittiful me I can't find work" bullshit, especially when I'm the motherfucker working my ass off to pay for you to sit at home on the damned couch!!
So now I'm heading out to do some freebie charity dirty work to benefit some kids that have real issues.Sorry for the rant Wait...No hell I'm not either!
