SRRS Buggy Event #1 Registration

There should be plenty of pics and vids. There will be lots of media coverage capturing the action. booyang

Just a quick reminder to the drivers:
When you get to the park, let the people working the gate know that you are racing and they will send you up the hill. Continue to the right at the top of the hill and you will be directed into the pit-lane parking area. The ONLY vehicles allowed in that parking area will be the drivers and their race rigs. We still have 7 spots left that havent pre-registered. If you plan to register at the park, tell the person working the gate and they will call me and see if any spots are left, if not you will have to park in the lower lots, unload there and drive up to the park.
As soon as you get to the park come up to the pavillion area next to the stage and let us know you are here and sign in.
After you get signed in we will be lineing up all the racers rigs in front of the stage in a 2 row line headed towards boat ramp.
We need to get all this done by 10am, so be there early so we can have the drivers meeting by 10.
We will have a 30 minute or so break between hills to allow someone to go back and make repairs, and also for the drivers to smoke over the next hill and decide what line to run. :afro:
To all those camping and staying at the park all weekend:
If you are staying, you will be able to park up on the hill.
For the people just staying for the day, you will be parked in one of the fields accross from the park. Someone will be out there all day to make sure noone messes with your stuff.

Rules for Spectators:
PLASE use caution as you all know these guys will NOT be holding anything back, so make sure you look out for falling rock skully
We will be marking each hill with 2 rows of tape, one red and one yellow, only media and people working the event will be allowed inside the red tape.
We will also be marking off an area at the top of each hill to allow each driver to clear up and leave enough room for the next guy.
Make sure to stay out of the taped off sections so we can keep the races going with minimum delay.

So those that are there for the day only...are we walking or can we drive our rigs around? (or side by side or whatever)

You can drive your offroad vehicle any where in the park. :) We are just trying to keep the daytime tow rig parking organized. The campground is not really big enough for everyone to park trucks and trailers. thumb.gif

Wes is the first one on the list. The first post is updated with the entries.

my bad, i didn't see him last time i looked

can't nobody beat that mofo on a hillclimb :fish: :flipoff1:

From looking at the list whoever wins the first round is going to have to earn it. Long list of great rigs and drivers. :woot:

Coming out to watch. Will trails be jammed with spectator rigs. How hard is it to get to each hill for the climbs? First time there

You can get to the trails in any car. All three hills are within walking distance from each other once you're back there.
