Alabama storms?

:eek:Thoughts and prayers with you all down there. Got bad weather coming our way tonite as well, I had 3 trees in my driveway and about 12 down total last time this weather came through.

Talked to my wife just outside Chattanooga and it's bad. Walmart close to my house had **** falling in the parking lot like shingles and tree branches and some farmer down the road got pictures and stuff from Huntsville out of a field. Ringgold GA is real bad and had to set up mobile hospitals because the roads are undrivable. I'm heading home tomorrow from S. GA and hope the roads are good by then. Last I heard 80,000 without power and I hope it's back soon cause my inlaws are at my house till theirs comes back on.

Latest update is 374,000 w/o power in N AL and it will be days before it's back on due to major power lines from the nuclear plant being knocked out.

We are still in the hospital, but since we are here for a while they had moved us to the best room on the floor. It has the best view of the city, and I watched from our room along with most of the nurses as it ripped through downtown Birmingham. It was sureal, it spanned from the I-65 junction to the red mtn expressway which is about 2 miles. It was moving fast and it was one of the scariest things I have ever seen

Un real. I was watching the coverage on TV from tuscaloosa and my dad called and told me it was getting serious, I walked up to the 3rd floor of our building to get a look and holy **** it was coming right for me. We were about to get the hell out of there but it was on us too quick so we ran back inside to a bathroom to find some random dude hiding in the bathtub so we waited it out and here is the aftermath. Luckily nothing happened to us other then some roofs partially taken off. Down the street is a different story.......

We walked down the road to where it really hit hard and the fire department handed us spray paint and told us to get busy looking for dead bodies and if we saw any to mark it with the spray paint.

Nope those are right across from me though...I work for 3M. The one on Red Hat I suspect is New Core Steel. Heard they got hit hard. Best I can tell...It hit there, went up and skipped over us and dropped down on the other side. Thats just a guess from the damage reports though. What power provider do you work for? We're on Decatur Utilities grid.

I'm at AlphaPet...bounced over us from redhat rd. Saw the fireworks on a transformer at 3M.
hope everyone is ok. Prayers out to all affected

Bad pic I found of Cullman County Courthouse, roof half gone and a ton of other damage throughout the city and county. Thoughts and Prayers go out to the victims of the storms today.
