My Angryfab buggy "ISSUES"

do you by chance remember what size thread you tapped the two water pump ports? npt? awesome build, those angry fab chassis are it!!

What Enzo said 3/8 npt and 1/2 npt. You don't even need to drill them

I read somewhere on Pirate the other day a guy complaining about a cooling issue after tapping. Any experience with that?

Another thing if you're keeping the thermostat, loop the heater hoses. I blocked the ports and had trouble with the thermostat not opening so I deleted it and used a restrictor instead. Keeping the heater fittings and looping them would have solved that issue as well.

I know brad Evans has his done that way, and I don't think he is having any problems. Mine isn't running yet, so I can't say for me

I think Waffle on here also complained about the system being hard to bleed with this modification.

I think Gates has a small hose to connect the 2 ports and not have to tap them.

Edit : read this : https://www.facebook.com/notes/agearhead4life/dont-plug-the-heater-ports-on-a-lsx-water-pump-heres-why/704643956255902/

All I know is that Lori's buggy is set up with the ports tapped shut and my Vortec is too. Both didn't have issues. So far so good.
