What has he done?

If you guys want to turn your anger in a positive manner then I suggest going a better route.

I mean really if you think about the time and $$ the DNR has already sunk into the prodject do you think they will open a single piece of land up there? Not in the least bit.

If you want to do something thats not going to make us all look like a bunch of hillbilly's with rigs then you need to do something else--because I can guarantee thats going to be the end result.

Whats your stance on policing the area jakob? What are you going to do to substain the area and the numbers that will come out of the woodwork? Are you willing to work every other weekend to correct the issues at hand that we have fought in prior years?

Also if you want to make a difference then you need to go above the DNR--go for the throat and thats the government.

IMO if it was me doing something like this I would go to every city along the highway 2 corridor, organize them and put pressure on the government that way. You will leave a bigger impression if you can put $$$ gained into the equation when dealing with government.

you really dont think that if several hundered users all showed up on the same day to wheel/ride a closed area somebody wouldnt take notice and figure out something needs to be done and NOW? Only problem is everyone likes to sit around and say what eachother is doing is wrong and it will never work that way or no it wont work that way either. The only way we will see Reiter in use in the next 1-5 years is if we put up a fight for it if not where at the mercy of playing the money game the rest of my generations life:corn:

If we all organized on the same page too fight for our area back i think it could happen, granted im doubting we can all ban together for the same cause as its proven in the past to not work:corn:

Anywho my 2 cents from the peanut gallery:awesomework:

If your going to pick a fight--then pick the right fight. Going for the DNR in a fight is the wrong way. You need to think bigger if you want to make a difference. I would bet the bank on that.

Jakob proved himself up at walker with the bypass that you ran last weekend he took that project upon himself basically and called all the right people in and got it done pretty darn quick too and got quite a bit of grief from folks over it too but it got done and its a darn fun trail now too:awesomework:

Just for reference im not picking on anyone specifically in this thread, just stirrin up the conversation to getcha thinkin:awesomework:

crash knows i still love him:kiss:

If you're expecting a public outcry I think you're barking up the wrong tree. Even if you were able to get some press coverage on this issue the average person would weigh the OHV users plight against the cuts to essential services, schools, law enforcement, and everything else but the Senate's lunch buffet. I'm guessing the public will let it pass like a bad taco.................:booo:

Nothing wrong with disagreeing Sam.. :awesomework:

I have no issues with jacob I just don't agree with his tactics--better ways of doing things.
