SO here is how the stinger ended up. The supports just miss the lower edge of the nose and dive on to the top of the frame. Should also give me a good base for any tubing I wanna do from the rear to the front.....

I also built new body mounts so the nose is now hard maounted.

Now of course---I couldn't let that rust free metal just sit there--had to throw some paint on it. Whats funny is the front diff has been stripped and sitting bare before I even cut anything off the rig and---its rust free. Something about the steel on this damn rig....

But in any case---here are some purdy pics for ya jack :;

SInce I had the nose off I went and took the plasma to it and removed some of the inner fender wells. Went far enough to where I could now easily remove more with the nose on the rig if need be....

And here is something that will TOTALY get you wound up jack and make ya wet

Look its now sitting under its own weight :clappy:

I have to rip the winch apart and rotate where the release lever sits and then that will be ready to drop back in.....

Heck no--there is too much arch to the right now. But there is no winch/hood yet--no shackles and the weight is shifted to the rear still so it will probably drop 2" from there it sits now by the time I am done....
