I need to get rid of the A/C pump. Even though it has a diagram on the shroud that shows a no a/c option. Parts stores only show a belt with a/c. Hoping someone else has done it and has the part number on hand.

Alright, Apparently there were two trannys offered in the 93 ZJ's. The AW4 and some kind of A500? Anyone know how I can figure out which one it is? Vin number? build date?

Where do I found out what tranny this thing has? Tried the door, looked for a tag on the tranny and couldn't see anything, nothing under the hood. It backs the inline 6 and has a part time tcase instead of full time. I need to start searching for a new one.

Can a NP248 be swapped in place of a NP231 in the same year cherokee? What would it take if there is more to it then just swapping it?

I guess I'm just trying to make this difficult. But I want the bars to tie into the frame where it drops down and gets boxed in. Problem is, that would make the bars 75" long. I'm not sure that 2" square tubing would be enough. I know there is usually a rule of thumb on how long to make traction...

So what's the best way to find a bad hydrolic lifter? I don't want to replace all of them because it doesn't have many hours on the thing and I'm sure cam and lifters are all just happy and don't need to be broken in again. Is there any "Cleaner" way of doing it then just taking the valve covers...
