So here is the progress as of late--I hope your lil boy likes it. I tried like heck to keep the origional lines/look of the MB on the nose. It ended up being some tough bends, a couple of the down portions of the bends ended up not being square with each side due to the tub--but you wouldn't know it unless you cross measured.

So in any case I figured where the main support bar was going to land on the frame--had to lop off the lil tabs that go from the tub to the frame(will have to replace them--no biggy) and went and plated the frame on both sides

And here is where the tube nails it..

I am also going to use this spot for the A pillar when it comes time to do the cage since the body supports on the tub for the front of the tub are pretty bad..

So when I ran the main support bar--it hugs the fron of the tub---landing right at the outer edge. At the same time I made tabs to help support that are of the tub..

And here are how the fenders turned out

The main support bars turned out perfect as the nose fits down snug between them--will make mounting/supporting it really nice. Plus I will run a bar under the hood behind the nose to help hold the rad when that time comes.

Also there are no supports for the fenders yet--will run another cross bar once the motor is back in and room is figured out...

Is it really still June 3rd?

Unfortunately I am at a dead end till the motor goes in. I got a response from novak and I need to find some #'s on the tranny. I have made some measurements for cross supports --but till the motor goes back in I am stuck since alot revolves around it--Plus I have no more parts...

:awesomework: I like the looks of those fenders.

They should look really good once some sheet metal is on the tops of them...

What parts to you need? You were still going to get back to me on the steering parts you wanted.
