OUtlet Mall

TBF...you guys make it up there today?

We went up to take a look for ya but didn't see any fresh tracks.

Fresh foot tracks :D We walked it and wholy fawk :awesomework: I realy like it but there't one spot that made me not run it. Where you'r uphill tire climbs the rock while you'r downhill tire drops in to a hole you've kina filled with rocks, leafsprings just dont provide that kind of suspension travel. Previous experince says that I would have just gotten my tire up on the rock and the suspension would have unloaded sending me tumbling down the hill in a not so fun to recover from area. We hummed and hawed about it for a while and for the first time ever turned around :booo: The rental is getting riped apart in the next couple weeks, let me get some linkys and then I'm all over it, looks totaly kickass.

Ethan..It was nice to meet you and Jason today:beer: More faces with names:awesomework:

There are some spots in the new section that are a little tricky even though they appear fairly tame....The slight offcamber of the terrain really comes into play and pushes you into trouble pretty quick. There's a couple spots that looked to me as trivial........and quickly turned into a fight...haha:redneck:

Don't go in alone......and the ability to twin stick is pretty important:D

I have seen a leaf sprung jeep on it's lid there:awesomework: Not a bad recovery:cool: I really need to get back up there:redneck:

Well after my VIP tour of this mall outlet, it is my belief that it will turn into a Scrapyard after the unprepaired go in.:haha: :redneck:

Well I have been into the origional outlet mall, and I know the idea was to get over to the big stuff (about 100 yards away) just curious if you got over there?

I sooooooo wanna be there, soon enough, if these shock mount's would stop kicking my ass it would help

I am pretty damn sure i found this mall, Looks kick ass for sure.

Follow the leader would be bad ass in there.

Hey Brad, Is this the place we looked at a few years ago, and thought it would be a lot of work?

Probably the same place...yes it has been a lot of work but is well worth the pain killers, muscle relaxants, advil and alcohol to offset the physical labor involved!

Was there with TB-F yesterday and did the whole thing...On foot!!!
NICE!!! Think I'll lighten up first then watch some one go in that could actually help in case there was an issue(light Toy VS.heavy truggy = not good). We waited around for almost an hour thinking someone would show...better luck next week-end.Thanks for the directions:awesomework:

A upsidedown scrapyard :D

I'm so giddy to get up there, I'm about to pee myself.

So how close to the cool stuff are you now?

From what I saw the cool stuff involves rocks the size of my house. Very cool. It also looked like there was the potential for dozens of diferent lines and conecting the 2 roads. I'm guessing the plan is to go diagonal to the left and up from where it ends now at the stumpy hillclimb, then down between the huge boulders?

Nothin but.^^^

Sounds like the perfect name for an epic trail.....til it's paved and becomes reality. :stirpot:

Can't wait to see pics or better yet live.

^^

Yes thats the "plan".To wrap around the big boulder on the left of the stumpy hillclimb then back right through the notch and work towards the switch back of the far road.

We are trying to NOT impact the climbers and there routes on the big boulders. So please try to be thoughtfull when around them and just be cool(Can be very difficult I know)

We are "building the trail....Not just smashing a trail through:cool:

Are you guys planning to "smash more trail through" this coming weekend? I'd like to come up and check it out.
