First off, let me say that I was not raised that way...my Dad mostly had GM stuff and my uncle who I've always looked up to still has his 65 Chevy C10 that he got in high school.

That's just what I've had since I was 15, I'm 35 now. It all started with an 81 Dodge D100 that my grandfather gave me, I'm sure most of you have seen it so I'll spare you the details. It was different, nobody else had a older Dodge when I was in school. So over the years I've held on to that truck but I've owned so many other Mopars that I've almost lost count. And I've never really had any trouble out them that wasn't caused by me or the situation I was putting it through.

Also, there was a story that my Dad and uncle told me when I was younger. My dad graduated high school in 74 and soon after got a job at a local ready mix plant. He bought a brand new 75 Trans Am with the biggest baddest motor in it. He didn't want to drive it to work and leave it parked there all day so he bought a work car, it was a 69 Dodge Coronet 4 door with a built 440 in it. My uncle would beg him to let him drive it to school cause there wasn't another car around that could outrun that Coronet, including the brand new Trans Am.

I really do like your D-100 very nice truck sir. The older stuff I like

Re:

Washing machine tore up earlier this week. We grabbed the one out of the ole lady's house today since she lives with me now. I tell you what, **** all that damn ice! Rained yesterday and this morning, and a one legged man trying to handle a washing machine on handtrucks on an iced over trailer floor, and porch is a mf'r. Poured hot water on front porch to melt ice and it would be froze again in a few minutes. Haha, glad that is over with.

Oh, and got her washer hooked up and installed and the agitator dogs were wore out (one was even broke) so the damn washer we just spent all that time swapping out wouldn't even agitate. Luckily, it took the same agitator dogs my old washer took and I just had replaced them a few years ago, so I swapped em out and that bitch is running like a top now. Sunday fun day.

Re:

Yeah it was more of a matter of urgency, as today was the only free day we had to mess with swapping washers out and all our clothes were dirty. Wasn't about to go to no damn laundromat. Lol

Re:

I can't imagine those temps and it aint even dead winter yet! Temps here been crazy since that storm front came through early this morning. It brought in the cold weather and froze everything. It was in the 60's last night I believe, then maybe got up to 30-31 today as a high. Mid 20's right now at 2am.

Re: Random Thoughts

I think it is officially time to swap back to full doors on the toyota for a while.. visibility is overrated when it is this cold !
