Hey guys, replacing a busted to hell gear set on my sterling. Anybody know or know how to find the pinion depth measurement? I believe it is the base of the pinion gear to the center line of the axle shaft. When i search i just find measurements regarding shims.

You guys know if 4.56 gears were standard in those power wagon 2500s?

Thinking about doing something unusual for me and picking up a commuter car. I am leaning towards a 2012-14 Cruze. Any reason I shouldn't? Also I really don't want a turbo, because it seems like one more thing that can fail. What motor is just naturally aspirated in those things?

In the past I've just welded on tabs to the tube. ...but how about tapping into the tube? I feel like that is a common practice as well based on pics I've seen. I'd rather just do that, but any proof that it compromises the strength of the tube?
